Originally from Kaneohe, Hawai’i, David Foy is a Director of Photography based in Brooklyn, NY. David’s approach as a DP is measured, uncomplicated, and emotional. His debut feature film, Waiting for the Light to Change won the Narrative Feature Grand Jury Award at the 29th Slamdance Film Festival in early 2023. It has since been theatrically and virtually released by independent film distributor Freestyle Digital Media. It was featured in Esquires “The 65 Best Movies of 2023” list.
